A full-body soak in the hot water and the massage jets can work together to offer pain relief from arthritis, back pain and sore muscles, and studies show it can lead to a better night’s sleep.

## MYTH: Hot tubs are expensive
Hot tubs are an investment, of course — but there are options for nearly any budget. Many of our customers are surprised to find options that are more affordable than they expected.
Price will vary, depending on things like the size (including the number of seats), the number and variety of jets, the materials used on the interior and exterior, the spa’s energy efficiency and other features.
Entry level hot tubs can start right around $2,000. Luxury spas can run all the way up to $16,000 or more.

## MYTH: Hot tubs are hard to maintain
In order for your spa to be the oasis of your dreams, it needs to stay clean and balanced. It will require some routine maintenance.
Once you learn the basics, though, it’s a relatively simple routine that will keep maintenance to a minimum. The good news: More and more tools are available to make this nearly maintenance free.

It goes to work when the hot tub needs sanitizing, so there are no yo-yo chlorine levels and reduces the need for maintenance. This time-released method is also why less shock is needed to maintain the hot tub.
## MYTH: You can’t enjoy your hot tub when it’s hot outside
If you're asking: “Can I use my hot tub in the summer?” or “Can I really use my spa without getting too hot?” you’re not the only one.
Spas are designed to be used year-round, so you can absolutely still use your hot tub in a hot climate or a humid summer day.
The key for many owners is to turn the temperature down. Many people find that right around 98 degrees feels right, with warm water that’s still relaxing and even refreshing.
You can also place a cold, wet washcloth on your forehead or neck. Add a drop of essential oil to the washcloth for an extra refreshing boost (we like lavender or peppermint, which both enhance relaxation).
