1. Decide where the bar stools will go.
This will be key to deciding the number of stools you need, the height and the design style.
2. Measure for height.
If you are using the bar stools with a counter or table, measure from the surface down to the floor.
If your tabletop is 36 to 39” high, pair with a counter stool.
If your tabletop is 40 to 42” high, pair with a bar stool.
